Height: 4.5cm Length: 13cm Width: 9cm
A blue F-15 Eagle with a silver cockpit, black rubberised nose and silver, red spider-web patterned stickers on the wings & tailfins. One wing sticker say "Air Raid", the other "2". Both tailfin stickers say "2". For those not familiar with the F-15, think Starscream. Twin tailfins, air intakes on the sides of the cockpits. Except Air Raid is a lot smaller than a Seeker jet. He's probably the most distinctively marked F-15 you'd ever see.
Like the other Aerialbots he has rolling undercarriage. The front wheel retracts.
TRANSFORMATION TO ROBOT MODE
Swing the tail and nose onto his back and join them into a backpack. Swing the wings up, grab the legs and pull down. Swing the arms out and stand him up.
Height: 10cm Width: 3.5cm at shoulders
He's got a silver torso, white legs, arms and head. He's got a silver face, as well as a silver forehead. Some silver paint on his feet & knees complete what's a very simple yet well done colour scheme. It's a little plain, but considering some of the colour schemes G2 brought us, this is a good thing. There's almost no blue, aside from the plane bits on his back. Despite the kibble on his back, it's a nice looking mode. An Autobot symbol would have been nice, though. Partly to add some more colour, but also just as a feature.
As with the other Aerialbot limbs, Air Raid's got ball and socket shoulders. At least he's not sparkly gold or orange, like some of his teammates.
A remake of the original G1 version.
One of the better Aerialbots, and he survived the G2 recolour process, unlike a lot of G2 recolours. Which warms me even more to this recolour. No real kibble in plane mode and well dealt with robot mode kibble. About as poseable as small toys got in his era. The G2 Aerialbots aren't anything special in themselves, but along with Skydive, one of the better recolours in the set. Worthy of a 7.5/10
